The conference offered thoughtful, evidence-based law and policy analysis and discussion of cutting-edge immigration issues. Topics included an analysis of the role of states and the federal government in immigration enforcement, as well as the effects of litigation; immigration policy and the 2012 presidential campaigns; the implementation of the Administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and other hot topics in legal service provision; and issues in protection for refugees, asylees and immigrant children.
